The Text Message Forwarding feature is one of the most important features on your iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro. Text Message forwarding mirrors text messages that have been sent to your iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro from the Messages app on Mac or iPad. Text Message Forwarding must use the same Apple ID on both your iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. FaceTime must be signed into with your Apple ID.

You will need to add an email address in iMessage to be able use Text Message forwarding on your Mac or iPad. FaceTime is also required with your Apple ID/iCloud.

How do Allow Text Message Forwarding for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13Pro:

Go to the iPhone’s Settings > Messengers > Send and Receive, then select “Use an Apple ID for iMessage”.

Enter your Apple ID password and user name. You can enable iMessage using an email that is associated with your Apple ID and your phone number.

Select an email address to activate it, then click Next.

Messages on the Mac and iPad open automatically and generate a one-time verification Code.

Enter this code in your iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro as shown below.

To enable Text Message Forwarding from other Apple devices, follow the same steps. Text Message Forwarding doesn’t require Bluetooth and your devices don’t have to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
